Spring has sprung, and the new cricket season's only a few weeks away! It's been great to see lots of members getting rid of the rust at our preseason practices. Here are a few reminders of what's going on around the club ahead of the upcoming season...

MPCC Golf Day

We have a strong expected turnout for our first club fundraising event of the new season, which takes place tomorrow, Sunday 3 September at Avonhead Golf Club. A big thanks to Our Senior captain, Matt Ling for getting things together for the day. If you haven't managed to get a team organised,  get in touch with Lingy and there may still be space to get involved. Or get along and offer some support - players are gathering from 11am.

Preseason nets

We have one more round of nets at the Sporting Edge Indoor Centre (4 Matipo Street) next Sunday (10 September) between 2-3.30pm. Get along, catch up with clubmates and see if the cricketing muscles still work before the season's upon us!
