Women's Cricket

Our team has gone from strength to strength over the last few seasons with last year being our finest; our women’s team ending up 3rd equal in the 1st grade competition.

We have a great bunch of girls who come from varying ages (grandma’s to teenagers) and our backgrounds both experienced and not. On the field we are very competitive, off the field we have a great team atmosphere: 2nd to none in the competition.

We practice once a week, and receive coaching by Canterbury Cricket specialist coaches and members from other teams at the club. Our subs are very competitive, the club is very supportive and the team is a great bunch of girls of mixed ages and abilities.

Our aim is to enjoy our cricket while learning the skills of the game. If you want to have fun in a great team atmosphere, MPCC women's is the team for you. We welcome new blood in the team whether you are an experienced cricketer or not!
