Welcome

Welcome to the website for the Merivale-Papanui Cricket Club, Christchurch, New Zealand.

As a cricket club we are aiming to provide a place in Christchurch where cricketers of all ages and abilities can meet to have fun playing cricket.

The website is intended to provide information about the club and how to join, as well as be a central place for communication for club members. The events and news pages will be updated regularly with latest goings-on and upcoming events. The statistics page details club records and player statistics for club members. The Women and Junior pages give a bit more information on those sections of the club and what we can offer for those players.

So if you are a current player, thinking about playing or want to be a supporter at a friendly cricket club, come and join us, you will be very welcome.

Greetings to you all

Nearly half way through the season already. The Senior team has made a winning start to the 1-day comp as has the Chairman's Cup team - check out the match reports on the News page.

The last game before Christmas is Saturday 20th, we will have an informal evening at teh club that night to round off the year with a few beverages and a BBQ - all welcome.

All our teams have fairly full playing rosters at present but if you want to come and play some serious (and not so serious) cricket at a great club then get in touch. We always have room for one more.

As always- a big thank-you to our sponsors, without whom the club would have a much tougher job to provide you all with cricket. Please support them whenever you can.
